Central School of Ballet presents

Overview

Running Time: TBC

Central School of Ballet’s End of Year Performance is a chance to see students from all three year groups perform a variety of dance styles, including classical ballet, contemporary, jazz and Spanish dance.

Ballet Central is the touring company of the School, made up of graduating students. Ballet Central 2015 features a diverse performance of newly commissioned works and celebrated revivals. Choreographers for Ballet Central include Christopher Bruce, Christopher Hampson (Artistic Director, Scottish Ballet), Kit Holder (Birmingham Royal Ballet), Christopher Marney (Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures), and Sharon Watson (Artistic Director, Phoenix Dance Theatre). Classical ballet fans will relish the Blue Ball Pas de Deux from Cinderella by company founder Christopher Gable and staged by Carole Gable, as well as La Fille Mal Gardée Pas de Deux and Pas de Quatre staged by Patricia Linton and Resmi Malko.

These family-friendly shows are ideal for dance enthusiasts as well as those new to ballet. Don’t miss this opportunity to see these highly talented and vibrant dancers as they launch their professional careers.
