The Singer’s Tale

Running Time: 2 hours 10 minutes approx with an interval

Carol Grimes and Dorian Ford combine their exceptional talents to recreate Carol’s real life story in music and words. Based on Carol’s book The Singer’s Tale, the ‘journey’ is filled with joy, sadness and original music by Grimes and Ford.

‘Grimes has a fascinating story to tell. She has a command of shaping and delivering words, a performance sense and musical and human depth and warmth to really make something of this.’ Sebastian Scotney

‘Dorian Ford’s ability to match mood or word with chord or line to evolve the ghosts of songs past, is a revelation’ Sebastian Scotney
