Beverley Craven: Live in Concert
2 July 2015
After a massive 40 night tour of the UK in 2014, BRIT-Award winner Beverley Craven will be back on the...
Running Time: 2 Hours Approx
Charismatic jazz singer Kevin Fitzsimmons takes a break from starring in touring big band concert Sinatra Sequins & Swing - The Capitol Years Live! to bring us his brilliant jazz show, Bennett-To-Buble: The American Songbook At Its Best, a sell-out many times at Ronnie Scott’s. Alongside him is his superlative quartet, described by JAZZWISE Magazine as ‘the cream of UK’s straight-ahead jazz musicians’.
One of the most individual male jazz voices to emerge on UK jazz scene in recent times, Fitzsimmons will be presenting a clever mix of carefully chosen standards covered by Messrs Bennett, Buble & co, deftly restyled with taste and verve. Expect creative mainstream jazz from celebrated players…blending West Coast cool, hard swinging, blues-tinged ballads all in the space of a relentlessly entertaining set. Don’t miss the chance to catch this line-up live in London, always a wonderful evening of top jazz.
Band: Kevin Fitzsimmons (vocals), Leon Greening (piano), Matt Fishwick (drums), Steve Fishwick (trumpet), Adam King (bass)
