Solo Segundo Workshop
18 - 21 November 2015
Part of the EFG London Jazz Festival. A chance to engage and interact with one of the most in-demand percussionists...
Running Time: 2hours approx.
Join Funny Women and its experienced team of comedy improvisors for a special workshop to teach you all about the art of improv comedy. In this fun and friendly class you won’t need any drama, acting, comedy or improv experience. You don’t even have to be funny! We’re here to teach you the basics and show you how you can improvise your way to success.
Improv comedy is very different to stand up comedy. You work with a team, bounce off one another and use your collective imaginations to create other worlds, characters and scenarios. It’s a great skill to develop and use in everyday life whenever you can.
In this fun and friendly workshop you’ll learn core improvisation skills such as comic timing, how to say “yes, and …”, how to develop characters and storylines and most importantly, how to listen. So book your place now and unleash your creativity.
“I can’t really put into words what those two hours did for me. I feel it’s the start of something very special” Hattie, Workshop Participant.
