A chance to see Melinda Hughes’ hit satirical Edinburgh show “Cocktails with the Diva” with very special guest, comedienne Rachel Parris.

Backed by a live Jazz trio, Opera Diva and Cabaret sensation Melinda Hughes performs original and outrageous songs about world affairs, bad cabaret, Operatic Divas and failed love affairs all in the Weimar Cabaret style, whilst serving satirical cocktails to her audience.

Melinda and her co-writer Jeremy Limb have appeared on BBC Radio 3 & BBC Radio 4 with Barry Humphries, The Holders Festival Barbados, Hay on Wye and Cadogan Hall supporting Maz Jobrani. Melinda has just made her New York Debut with Weimar & Back at the Metropolitan Room New York.

Their special guest is the award winning musical comedian Rachel Parris; known for her darkly witty lyrics and catchy melodies, Parris has been named the Independent’s One To Watch 2014, and was recently nominated for a Chortle award. She has appeared on Channel 4’s The IT Crowd, BBC3’s Sweat The Small Stuff, and is the presenter of Thronecast, the Game of Thrones fan-show, on Sky Atlantic.

This will be a fantastic evening of comedy, song and satire and you might even get a free cocktail.
