Acting Through Song Masterclass

25 October 2014

The Acting Network brings you an intensive one day workshop focusing on finding the truth in a song for theatre.

Participants will work through a piece of their choice in a technical manner with an emphasis on text analysis and character and an understanding of how these fit musically.

Observers will be able to follow the participants progress, pick up techniques and take part in Q & A’s.

We are delighted to have Julie Atherton joining us to lead this masterclass. Julie is one of the country’s best loved musical theatre stars. She made her name as Kate Monster/ Lucy the Slut in the West End premiere of Avenue Q and has performed in a plethora of shows including Mamma Mia!, Fame, Sister Act and The Last five Years. Most recently she has been seen in the title role of the critically acclaimed Therese Raquin.

By purchasing tickets, you are agreeing for us to pass on your email to The Acting Network, to receive the masterclass welcome pack. They will not pass your email onto any 3rd party, or add you to their mailing list unless you have agreed. You can contact the directly on [email protected]
