10 questions with Trevor Murphy

Trevor Murphy is starring in The Summer of Love in the studio 27 July - 1 August.

1. Do you have a party trick?

Gatecrashing was my forte many years ago…and ironically I/we felt more welcome.

2. Which two people, living or dead, would you most like to invite to a dinner party and why?

Only Grace Kelly when she was in her mid 20’s and she’s single and we’re on a date and a discreet sophisticated waiter serving the best food wine.

3. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Loud popcorn munching in cinema.

4. Have you got any unusual pre-show rituals?

Yelling my lines out on the Mile End road when cycling fast to the theatre.

5. What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?

I don’t know. It must have been so bad… it left my memory.

6. If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?

Invisible.

7. If you were stranded on a desert island, what item could you not live without?

Grace Kelly.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Flying Airbus A380.

9. What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Quitting a £50k a year office job to become an actor £5k a year job.

10. And finally, why should people come and see you perform at the St. James Studio?

Cos Andrew Bridgmont is an amazing writer.
